It’s hard for me to choose a favorite, but I think I’ll go with “Persuasion.” <3
So hard to choose cuz I love them all, but I’d have to say Pride & Prejudice
I need to read more of her books, but my favorite will always be Pride and Prejudice.
Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, but I also loved Emma!
If must pick, it is Sense and Sensibility!
P&P remains my all time favorite, and I would have to say Persuasion is next on my list. Wait, no, make the S&S. Wait…….lol.
I never tire of Lizzy Bennett, and so ‘Pride and Prejudice’ comes first to mind. But there’s something about ‘Emma’ that keeps me coming back. She may be the least likable of Jane Austen’s characters: she’s a meddler and a know-it-all; she’s headstrong, quick to pass judgment (incorrectly, at that), and she can be most unkind. She’s also loyal and caring, engaging, and genuinely repentant for her mistakes. In other words, she’s a complex character who, with Mr. Knightley’s help — and through her own considerable emotional labor — moves from a flighty girl to a thoughtful young woman over the course of the novel.
But all in all, these are simply angels dancing on the head of a pin. There’s very little that’s more enjoyable than spending an afternoon reading ANY Jane Austen novel.
Thanks for the giveaway; the notecards are so lovely.
P.S. I follow you in Google Reader.
Definitely Pride and Prejudice.
I’ve gotta go with Pride and Prejudice.
all time favorite is pride & prejudice
Love your notecards!
Hard to say, but I’ll say “Persuasion”.
Emma.
Pride & Prejudice is my favourite!
My favorite Jane Austen novel is absolutely Sense and Sensibility. I remember reading it as a teenager and just falling in love with that world.
I am also a fan on your fan page.
Northanger Abbey is my favourite – it’s precise and funny, and I quite love the flawed, novel obsessing heroine, despite her also getting on my nerves sometimes.

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite, but I’m really enjoying Persuasion right now, too.

‘Pride and Prejudice’ is my favorite Austen novel. While I am utterly devoted to all of her work, P&P was the first of her books that I read. I was in high school and had to choose a 19th century book for an assignment. My teacher recommended P&P to me and I was hooked from the first chapter. Ten years later and it’s still my favorite book of all time. A copy sits on the nightstand by my bed so I always have it close at hand.
When I discovered JA a few years ago, I always made sure to read the books before I checked out any movie I got a hold of, and of course love all of them, books and movies for different reasons.
Anyway, my top three are — Pride and Prejudice, Northanger Abbey and Mansfield Park. Yep, love MP, and will say so! LOL
(as for the rest, it comes in with S&S, emma and Persuasion; just isn’t a book I didn’t like!).
